Introducing Kandeez First Dance – A New Chapter Begins!
In July 2025, the Louise Austin School of Dance has been taken over and will proudly now be known as Kandeez First Dance (KFD).
We’d like to introduce ourselves as the new principals of KFD (Carla, Hannah & Emily) and to share how Kandeez First Dance was born.
With a shared passion for dance, teaching, and building confidence through creativity, the three of us came together with a vision: to create a dance school that celebrates individuality, nurtures talent, and makes every student feel like a star from their very first step. That vision became Kandeez First Dance.

Carla & Hannah own Kandeez Dance, based in Aylesbury and Emily owns First Dance, based in Long Crendon. For many years we’ve had a very close working relationship and all share a love and passion for teaching dance. When Louise decided she wanted to end her teaching journey, we jumped at the chance to work together, combining our expertise and shared values.
Carla had also worked for Louise Austin for many years from 2011-2018 so this felt like a natural progression for the 3 of us to take this on.
Our mission is to create a fun dance environment for students to thrive, build confidence and celebrate all things dance!
While we honour the legacy of the Louise Austin School of Dance and all it has achieved, we are also excited to bring fresh energy, new opportunities, and a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for every dancer.
We can’t wait to meet you all – whether you’re continuing your dance journey with us or stepping into the studio for the first time.
